• Wrote and edited
documentation for a variety of print and online formats. Utilized IBM translation tools to provide users with various documentation alternatives: Traditional print; SGML; HTML.
• Developed
  documentation plans for a new relational/multidimensional OLAP database product. Worked with software engineers in the early stages of the project to develop a concept for a complete documentation set, including installation guide, reference manual, and SQL programmer’s guide.
• Translated
  existing printed documentation to online SGML format for XOPEN standards group.

• Wrote and edited
promotional and reference documents for Cirrus Logic’s advanced integrated circuits. Edited and updated Web pages using HTML. Created FrameMaker templates for new series of hardware documentation. Assisted with plans for creating online documentation resources.

• Tested and edited
online help documentation for Lotus cc:Mail. Edited and wrote online user manual. This position was an internship.

• Developed
multimedia CD that consisted of several maintenance and user manuals. Adapted existing paper documents for online display using Microsoft Multiviewer and Adobe Photoshop. Edited and reformatted text and graphics. Improved online usability by adding hypertext links and hotspots.

• Wrote
documentation explaining the complex interactions among four major components of the Milstar Data Processing System. Integrated information from a variety of written and personal sources. This document was critical for the successful launch and support of the first Milstar satellite.
• Wrote
instructional material for satellite operations trainees. Coordinated course materials with other writers and instructors. Instructed four groups of 25 trainees, who became the first group of satellite operators at the Consolidated Space Operations Center in Colorado Springs.
